Wildomar Drivers Have a New Choice at the Pump

WILDOMAR, Calif.  (August 21, 2013) – Propel Fuels (www.propelfuels.com), a leading retailer of renewable fuels and clean mobility solutions, today announced the opening of its newest renewable fuel station, in partnership with KA Enterprises and co-located at the Chevron gas station at 23805 Clinton Keith Road in Wildomar (map). Conveniently located off Interstate 15, the station makes it easy for consumers and fleets to fuel their vehicles with environmentally friendly, American-made fuels. As part of the opening celebration Thursday, August 22nd through Friday, August 23rd, Propel and KA Enterprises will provide local drivers and fleets $10 of free E85 Flex Fuel to encourage the community to experience filling with clean, quality certified, renewable fuels.

“Consumers and businesses across California have shown us that access to renewable fuels is important to them, so we're continuing to grow our network of stations here in Southern California," said Matt Horton, CEO of Propel. “This is an ideal location for us, providing quick access off a major freeway, while serving a new community of Flex Fuel vehicle owners. We're excited to bring more choice at the pump to the City of Wildomar and help make progress toward our nation's clean energy goals."

Today more than one million Californians drive alternative fuel-ready vehicles, but the majority do not have access to renewable fuels. Numerous cars and trucks from manufacturers such as Chevy, Ford, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Mercedes are E85 Flex Fuel compatible. Drivers can simply switch back and forth between Flex Fuel and gasoline any time they want. Vehicles that can run on E85 can be identified by the manufacturer's yellow gas cap or through the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). Drivers can also check their vehicle's E85 compatibility on Propel's website at: www.propelfuels.com/driveE85.

Drivers and fleets can track and report CO2 emission reductions from their use of renewable fuels through Propel's proprietary CleanDrive® program (www.propelfuels.com/cleandrive). Logging in at each fill up, CleanDrive members receive personalized emissions reports showing their reductions in CO2 emissions, barrels of oil displaced, and equivalent annual impact of mature trees. Along with thousands of loyal individual consumers, Propel customers include hundreds of private and public fleets, including the United States Postal Service, the California Department of General Services, and the Department of Transportation.

Propel currently operates a network of 40 stations throughout California and Washington State with more than 200 stations planned for new and existing markets over the next few years. Other Southern CA area locations include Arcadia, Fullerton, Harbor City, Norwalk, Wilmington, Torrance, Fullerton, Anaheim, Claremont, Huntington Beach, La Mirada, Sylmar, Ontario and Hemet as well as Oceanside and Chula Vista. As even more sustainable fuel technologies advance, Propel's station platform provides the flexibility to offer new fuel choices into the future. Propel will continue to work with the very best current and next-generation fuel suppliers to bring responsible, high performance renewables fuels into all its fuel blends.
