Master of Fun.
Meet Josh Uli // Propel NorCal Brand Rep
USMC: Gunnery Sergeant, Master Diesel Mechanic, Distinguished Recruiter.
You may have met Josh at a Propel station. He’s the bright eyed, broad shouldered guy in the green Propel shirt with the smile of a stoked 13-year-old kid. That glimmer in his eye comes from seeing the world, and now working in the industry he loves.
During his 16 year military career Josh travelled to 15 different countries, including Iraq, where he was a part of the initial invasion. He was assigned to the 1st Marine Division, Alpha Company, 3rd Assault Amphibian Battalion, led by General Mattis. Josh received a Combat Action Ribbon among many other awards, ribbons, and medals for his tours.
Josh’s unit was responsible for taking down the statue of Saddam in the city square of Baghdad, for which he received a Presidential Unit Citation. After his combat tour, Josh spent the next 7 years on recruiting duty where he won “Recruiter of the Year” in 2008, and received a Navy Commendation Medal, among dozens of other awards and accolades.
Once Josh finished his tour of duty he completed a Master’s Degree in Business Leadership and joined the Propel Team.
It shows. When you serve your country and take an active role in upholding our freedom, you can appreciate that freedom with a love of adrenaline and adventure. You see it in Josh’s “toys” like his Ford F-250 workhorse pickup truck, pro tuned dirt bike, and professionally tuned Side-X-Side.
“I am passionate about renewable fuels, with every vehicle I own running either Diesel HPR or Flex Fuel E85. The more I learned about Propel, the more I knew I needed to be a part of this mission to bring better fuel choices to the marketplace.”
Keep an eye out for Josh at the pump or in one of his finely-tuned rides. He’ll keep you rolling with some Propel performance fuel.
Josh’s Big Toys
2011 Ford F250 6.7L - “The Work Horse. This is what pulls my 36-foot 5th-wheel toy hauler out to the dunes, along with all of my toys.”
2014 VW Jetta TDI - “After the emissions scandal, I refused to let VW have this car back. I have had it since it was new and not only is it a fun daily driver that runs on renewable diesel fuel, it also gets over 45 MPG!”
2013 Cadillac SRX - “Cadillac offered an SRX that was E85-compatible for years 2012-2013 alone. She is fast and beautiful.”
2018 Can-am Maverick X3 Turbo Max - “This UTV has been converted to run on Flex Fuel with an E85 Stage 5 tune from Malone Motorsports which, along with numerous proprietary upgrades, has bumped this beast up to 225 horsepower, making it insanely fun at the dunes and dragstrip. When fellow off-road enthusiasts have witnessed the raw horsepower of this bad boy, they’ve promptly converted their vehicles to E85, as well.”
And there’s this...
