B20 upgrade

Premium performance. Guaranteed quality.
No additional cost.

Whether you’re a loyal user of Propel’s B5 biodiesel upgrading to a higher blend or a first timer seeking a premium diesel fuel for your personal or fleet vehicles, look no further than Propel’s B20. Propel’s B20 is an affordable blend of 80% petro-diesel and 20% high-quality, American-made biodiesel – and no conversion is required to run B20 in your diesel vehicles.

Benefits of Biodiesel B20

  • Extend Engine Life, Increase Performance. Propel’s B20 is 10x more lubricating than ultra-low sulfur diesel (ULSD), allowing your engine to run smoother for longer while eliminating the need for lubricity additives. B20 also has a higher cetane rating than petroleum diesel for easier starting and increased engine efficiency.
  • Reduce Harmful Emissions Biodiesel exhaust has less ozone-forming potential than petroleum diesel and is proven to reduce toxic tailpipe emissions, including CO2 – a major contributor to climate change.
  • Compatible with Current Vehicles. Propel’s B20 meets ASTM specifications and can be safely run in your diesel engine(s) without any conversion or change in maintenance. In fact, a study from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) has shown that even the latest in clean diesel technology is compatible with B20 without impact to the engine or the emission control system.
  • Competitively Priced. Despite its premium features, Propel’s B20 is competitively priced with petroleum diesel.

Regardless of which fuel you run, changing your engine oil per your manufacturer’s recommendations will improve performance and prolong the life of your engine. Consult your owner’s manual, local dealership or licensed diesel mechanic for more information on your vehicle’s fuel compatibility and recommended maintenance.

Your Warranty & Propel’s Performance Guarantee

Vehicle and engine manufacturer warranties apply to the specific products they manufacture. Fuel or fuel additives are not covered under a vehicle warranty. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, if an engine experiences a malfunction due to parts and workmanship while under warranty, and it is not related to the fuel, it must be covered under the OEM’s warranty. Conversely, if it is determined that an engine malfunction is caused by the fuel used, it would become the responsibility of the fuel supplier to correct the problem. Under our Performance Guarantee, if Propel fuels are proven to be the cause of failure to any warranted fuel system, Propel will fix or replace the damaged material at no cost.

Under Propel’s Performance Guarantee, we stand behind the quality of all our fuels and will repair any damage to your engine or fuel system in the unlikely event that our fuel is determined to be the cause of that damage. Propel further acknowledges that, regardless of which fuel you run, changing your oil per your manufacturer’s recommendations will improve performance and prolong the life of your engine. Check your owner’s manual for more information on your vehicle’s fuel compatibility and recommended maintenance.
