“Love, the Bus” Returns to Propel

If there’s one thing we can get behind, it’s Progress. See how Propel helped bring this new park to life.
Progress Park, located in San Francisco’s “Dogpatch” neighborhood, was previously a vacant plot of land under the 280 Freeway. Today, thanks to support from Caltrans, the San Francisco Department of Public Works, the San Francisco Parks Trust and a handful of dedicated neighborhood residents, Progress Park is well on its way to becoming a welcoming destination for leisure and recreation, complete with a meandering stone pathway, off-leash dog area, recycled rainwater irrigation and bocce courts. To help things along, the Propel Team pitched in to plant the grass plugs that will soon cover the better part of Progress Park with a lush blanket of green. It was no easy feat, but 2,200 plants later, Progress Park is one step closer to becoming the neighborhood hotspot it was always meant to be.
